Pantry Organization and Can Rotation System

I am Kelvin Bailey, the owner of Pantry Maid. Here is my story.

In December 2004 our company was established as Can Maid and our pantry organizer was called the Can “O” Mizer. But after some marketing research, we made the decision in January 2007 to change the name of our company to Pantry Maid and our product became the Can Organizer as you know it today.

However, the concept of food storage rotation was on my mind since 1993. In that year, my wife asked if I could come up with an easier way to organize and rotate our pantry storage. This is how I came up with the original Can Organizer unit. But, this can dispenser was built as a cabinet unit made of metal shelves, wood framing, and wheels for mobility purposes as seen in the picture to the right.

This movable cabinet can rotator met our family needs very well for many years.  But, one morning in October 2004, I had the idea to make this invention more functional for every family's pantry storage. The final design and materials needed to develop what you see today took the next couple of months. The finished can dispenser was introduced into the market place in December 2004. It met with immediate success since so many people were looking for a more practical product to organize and rotate canned food.

The Can Organizer unit was designed to meet the needs of today’s family. The Can Organizer is ideal for pantry organization or storage on a kitchen counter or cabinet.

We at Pantry Maid will continue to find better ways to design, manufacture, and market pantry organizer units to make them more affordable and functional for you.

We bought 30 Can Oganizers to organize our pantry and a storage shelf in the basement. The Can Organizers helped us keep our canned food rotated so we use the oldest first. My pantry is neat and organized, as is, the shelf in the basement. They are also easy to clean. Thank goodness for the Can Organizers!
